Sushi Sake, nestled at 2150 N Collins Blvd in Richardson, TX, is quickly earning a reputation as a must-visit sushi restaurant. Patrons laud its remarkable value and authentic experience that doesn’t compromise on quality. Reviewers, including Rumple Stiltskin, appreciate the variety, noting that even seasoned sushi lovers, like his Japanese wife, find great delight here without breaking the bank.
Brian Hallman emphasizes the authenticity of both service and food presentation. The warm towels served at the beginning set a quality tone, while the freshness of the fish shines through in every bite. His remarks about a less favorable crawfish roll were counterbalanced by praises for the spicy tuna rainbow roll and various sashimi selections.
What truly stands out is the attention to detail, as Paul Liriano aptly puts it, with traditional serving styles enhancing the overall experience. The intimate atmosphere, highlighted by semi-private low tables, draws diners into a space that feels authentically Japanese, as Warren Barreto noted in his glowing review of the attentive staff and swift service.
In summary, Sushi Sake tantalizes taste buds with every offering, making it a highly recommended destination for anyone serious about sushi.

The best sushi experience for the money. My wife is Japanese and she loves this place for the value, variety and experience. You can go to super expensive sushi places, but why?

I've been to sushi across the US and I've never encountered a place so authentic. From the service to the quality and presentation. This place really goes all out. Is say it's a little pricy but when thinking about how much we got and the freshness and incredible taste it was worth every penny. They start you off with nice hot towels to wash your hands from there i knew we were in for a special treat. I had 1 bad roll out of the 9 or so we ordered..Do not order the crawfish roll other than that, sit back and enjoy. If you like sushi or sashimi/nigiri you will not leave disappointed. We got tuna, yellowtail, Eel, spicy tuna rainbow roll, spicy tuna roll.

This is, for the money, the best bang for your buck out there. Amazing flavor and delicious fish. Soup and other items are served spoon-less, so there is an attention to detail to replicate more what you see in the motherland. Its not cheap, but its the only place outside of Mitsua I go for Sushi and cannot recommend it enough.

This is by far the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to. The atmosphere was amazing and very authentic. The prices were very reasonable. I am very excited to go back!

Love this spot! When you hit the dining room, you get taken away to the other side of the world. Cool low tables accommodate 6-people for a semi private intimate experience. Jeb was a fantastic waitress, super attentive and food came out quickly and was great tasting. Definitely put this on your calendar to visit.

08/18: came for lunch and got here right around 11:30. There was a small line outside but we were seated fairly quickly. Sushi was very fresh and even the ginger was so fresh. Service was fine. Came for Friday dinner and everything was great. We arrived at 5:30 and signed up outside on the sign in sheet. If we came later, we'd def have to wait a lot longer. Place got packed! Food and service were both great!

Food was good. Service was very nice. Sushi and sashimi sampler that we ordered was delicious. They do have a group private room that you will have to call in advance to book.
